You've Got Style

So I've kinda been a downer lately. Not when I'm with other people but like when I'm alone (hence the latest blog) but I'm trying to snap outta that and I think the Christmas Spirit is sorta helping with that !

I'm a sucker for Christmas, like I'm a Die Hard Christmas Fanatic . I was the kind of kid who couldn't sleep at all Christmas Eve. I'd wake up in the morning and freaaak when i saw sleigh tracks in the snow and half-eaten cookies Santa left behind. It's sorta sad that as we grow up it begins to wear off but I'm desperately trying to bring the Christmas Spirit into my house. I've decorated and baked and wrapped and shopped for hours this year.. I sorta went all out! Verrrry Excited.

On another note, music is another escape for me. Music is something that I'm extremely passionate about. It's very rare to find me without my MP3 handy. Today I was listening to it on shuffle and I came across a song that I hadn't listened to in a while and now I've probably listened to it 30 times. I just love that, when you find an old song you'd forgotten about and you quickly fall in love with it again.

The BARE Necessities

Hello everyone,
So a friend of mine, Courtney, wrote a blog about respecting your body the way it is and I thought maybe I could elaborate a little. This is an essay I wrote this year about Going Nuuude ! I had a lot of funn writing it, so I hope you enjoy! :)



I wake up in the blackness of night, lying in my bed, and sweating like a pig. Telling myself to breathe, just breathe. I had that typical dream, the one I’m sure most of you have had. If not, picture this. I’m standing in the hall of my high school, first day of grade nine. I aimlessly look around and realize everyone is staring at me. No, not staring, gawking. Pointing and laughing like I’m some out-of-this-world alien. I can’t comprehend what is going on, I look around myself and that’s when I figure it out. Oh no, here I am standing butt naked in front of all my peers. I think to myself “How can this be happening? This is petrifying!” A wave of relief crashes over me like a cold gusty wind and I begin to realize it was all just a dream. But as I wait for the break of dawn, a crazy idea pops into my head. What if being naked wasn’t so abnormal? I ponder the thought for a while. If we all went undressed, it wouldn’t be so strange, it would be completely ordinary. As I think about it, I'm starting to believe there are a lot of advantages about being unclothed. Let’s discuss this idea; we shall call it the “Going Nude Movement”.

You all must think I'm crazy, right? I'm just that easy girl that likes the idea of being naked. Well, I'm not suggesting going nude because of the sexual association. Believe it or not, they’re more reasons to go undressed than just to let it all hang out. Some believe it all started with Adam and Eve. After eating the forbidden fruit, they suddenly become conscious that they were naked and consequently they began to wear clothes. If it weren’t for their mischief, we would all be perfectly comfortable living our everyday lives entirely exposed.

Maybe you’re thinking the “Going Nude Movement” is insanity, craziness and complete madness but perhaps this will spark your interest - try and calculate how much money you’re spending per year on clothing alone. Now, maybe your parents are paying for them but either way, there will be more money available to buy other luxuries. Take for instance that Xbox 360 you’ve been wanting for months now. If you didn’t have to buy clothes, you would be able to buy it in a heartbeat. Sounds nice, doesn’t it?

What about the positive impact it can have on self-esteem? A famous entertainer once sang “R-E-S-P-E-C-T, Find out what it means to me”. Maybe she didn’t sing it in this context, but Aretha Franklin sang about respect and what better way to gain self respect than to learn how to be comfortable in your own skin. Think of it this way, millions of people hide their bodies away by wearing frumpy and baggy clothing. Well, stop! Soon you need to realize that you’re beautiful no matter what shape and size your body is. Diverse body shapes will become more accepted in society and that will cause individuals to be more confident in themselves. No longer will people judge or make fun of you because of what you’re wearing. So quit stressing about wearing that top brand because you’re body is the new brand and trust me, it’s the next big thing.

So you’re a little shy and you need a taste of what it would be like to be a nudist? No problem, explore a little and travel to a nudist colony or beach. Pack light and enjoy a vacation like never before. You can experience the liberty and freedom of living “au natural”. If you enjoy this encounter, suggest it to a friend and perhaps the “Going Nude Movement” will slowly start to swing into action.

Overall, the “Going Nude Movement” definitely has its perks and advantages. No more throwing away money to purchase clothes, more self respect and confidence and living life in a therapeutic manner. What more could you ask for? As I like to say, “Go naked, or go home”. You can start tomorrow, or any day you choose. All you need to do is live life with just the bare necessities.

Internet Tirmination!

Heey there!
So at the moment, this is my only internet escape. The other day I decided to transform my life therefore I decided to delete my msn and semi permanently quit going on Facebook. I had a friend change my password so now it isn’t possible to go on! I will return to it once the Christmas Break rolls around and I no longer have to write dumb essays and tests! This was my Bold Moment of the month. Making a change and getting rid of a HUUUGE distraction. Bye bye MSN & Facebook!

As for the life of Sabrina, everything is well. Some minor issues here and there but heck, life is never perfect.

I'm looking forward to a fun and relaxing weekend starting with a SUUPER SWEET SIXTEEN party for my girrrl Linnea tonight... PUMPED!!

Lights, Camera, Action !!

Every year, thousands of movies are created. Some we like and some we don’t. Some make us laugh and some make us cry. Some even make us fall asleep but regardless of all that, movies consist of a lot of the same aspects.

-A storyline: consisting of a beginning, middle, and end
-Characters: Some who portray goodness and some evil
-A spice of humour and action and drama
-And we can’t forget that sweet splash of romance

The list goes on, etc, etc. But what I am beginning to realize is that life is a lot like a movie. Well mine is at least. The beginning being birth and childhood, middle being current day and the ending, well let’s hope that’s a ways away, it’s yet to be determined. And there are also characters in my movie, and they too portray either integrity or wickedness. As the list goes on, it continues to describe my movie, yes there is a lot of humour and some action as well, and of course, there is plenty of drama! As for that sweet splash of romance, well it’s here and there but let’s just say that my movie hasn’t exactly reached a climax in that category.


Overall, my movie is still being filmed. The cameras are rolling every second of every day and for those of you watching and those of you casted... I hope you enjoy!

YEAAH its blog time.
Blog time = Happy Time !

well theres a lot to say,
i feel like i haven't blogged in ages
let's begin with these past few days

Wednesday night, Melissa, my momma and i went to the ONE OF A KIND CHRISTMAAS SHOW which was delightful :)

then Thursday we had our first volleyball game which wasn't half bad either, i had a lot of fun and was surprised by how well we played. And if i might add... I Loooooove Volleyball. Its just that escape where my mind focuses on one thing and one thing only , the love of the game! :)

Lastly these past few days which have been incredible. They consisted of Christmas Mannnia. Mel & I baked for a solid 6 hours on Friday, then decorated her tree and then watch a Christmas Classic along with our dusty friend Speeenn. Then the following day (today) we travelled to brampton to NanaBear and Buddy's and made some shortbread and decorated their tree. Also GT's!!!

And to add to all that, which was probably my fave was just chilling with my fave girl melly gabbe tonight. Getting chased around her house, chilling on her bed, playing solitaire, facebooking and laughing so hard that my stomach actually got a work out. I looove you girl, always the best times :)

Now for some insight into the world of Sabrina Loeprich:

Friends- There is a handful of you right now who just make my life, shout out to you girls. I get by with a little help from my friends ;)
Family- Pretty decee, got to see my sis on Thursday which was loong overduuue :)
Guys- Well this topic is fabulous (8) hhahha. Boys... I DONT UNDERSTAND YOU ! some feelings have been developing but then i talk myself out of them cause either a) it would be an epic faaail b) they wouldn't be down or c) my brain is a little further ahead then my heart. i think my hearts a little stuck but my minds telling me to move forward. A little help in this category would be nice ! :P

Well that's gonna havve to sum it up for tonight!

Can you read me like a book ?

I came to a theory tonight and it is:
That you never fully know someone.

Have you ever realized how you'll never know exactly what someone is thinking/feeling and therefore, as much as you THINK you know them.. you really don't. For instance, they could tell you they like something but really not or try to explain how they feel but sometimes words just can't express that.

So I guess my point is, the only person you'll ever fully know is yourself .. and truthfully, how well do we know ourselves ?!

where the heart is ...

Where was my heart this weekend ?

Friday: it was at the milton galaxie theatre with a bunch of my favourite people watching the most epic movie ... NEW MOON!
Saturday: it was at crawford gardens for the christmas season,
pretty much in my heaven with the thousands of twinkle lights and christmas displays ! then that night hanging with the girlies. everyone can use a good dose of girls night!
Sunday:once again at crawfords which is probably my happy place right now!

Now: well overall, my heart is desperately looking for a good weeeeek ! (yn)

one + one = GT's

once upon a time there was a girl named brittany and a girl named sabrina. they've know about each other since the good ol' days in brookville, however there wasn't a lot of talking involved. they only decided to express their feelings toward each other at MDHS. they played basketball and volleyball together, sabrina warmed the bench for basketball and brittany warmed the bench for volleyball but this didn't stop their love... it only made it stronger. as their relationship flourished there was only one thing left to do , write a blog together. so here it goes:

after a long hard day of hitting the books and slapping around some teachers, sabrina and brittany travelled by the autobus to sabrinas humble abode. like most teenagers they were addicted to facebook and that when things got kinky. it involved a special someone, the one and only... Pandrew Doivin. he propositioned to film an erotic girl on girl vid performed by yours truly. sadly we had to turn him down. chef ramsey was in desperate need of some kitchen help. after getting his kitchen under control, sabrina and brittany decided to do some baking of their own. they made a grand feast that consisted of succulent butter chicken with some nicely sauteed veggies on a bed of steaming jasmine rice. NBD! they began to bake some scrumptious oatmeal peanut butter bars but alas, ran out of precious time. DRAT! so they left them in the oven.... do you think that's a good idea? stay tuned, you will find out !

then the pointsettas were calling, they needed their top sellers at parent night. obviously brittany and sabrina were there for the job, along with the beautiful Jauren Reely. after zerrrro work and zeeerrro sales the two lovers went back to their humble abode. and what did they find there? some extra crispy oatmeal peanut butter bars. they weren't half bad as long as you had a large glass of milk alongside. bellies full and the day almost done, they felt like they had taken over the world... but there was one thing left to do. write a story about themselves in the third person.

what an afternooon.
first off, congrats junior boooys !
white oaks put up quite a fight and you pretty much gave all us watching heart attacks but you pulled through and remained undefeated the ENTIRE season. Again I say, Congrats!
I really will miss the team, you boys pretty much make me laugh left right and center.

the rest of the afternoon pretty much made my day.
consisting of ....
1. lauren walker and I all in the front seats of his Yukon
2. a stop at wennndy's for a scrumptious frosty and heated volleyball discussion
3. and lastly (the highlight), the hardcore jam on the ride home
rocking out to "space jaaam" and "the letter L"
words cant describe how much I laughed !

its days like these i think to myself, Life Is GRAAAND !

Blog the First !

Hmmmmm , what to say?!?
Well as you can see this is my first time blogging and i must admit, I'm pretty excited but also quite nervous. Just a little shout out to the wonderful and talented b.tils and t.pick for helping me set up my blogger. Appreciate it ladies!

I guess the main reason for setting up this blog is due to the fact that I am the type of girl who is constantly caught up in all those screaming thoughts in her head. Now, I'm a little shy and I'm not the type to express my feelings a whole lot but I am going to go out on a limb. No more bottling up the feelings. Personally, a blog seems like the perfect way to get it all out, don't you think?

Where to being?! Shall we start with boys, friends, or family? At the moment they all seem to be contributing to the long list of thoughts that just won't escape my head.

We'll start with family, I'd say that's the easiest right now. Family is good other than missing my sister. She's off to university and I miss having her around to talk with, but I'll get over that. I guess that's what phones were invented for !

On to friends. Well all I can say is that this year has been a year of change. Friends have been lost and friends have been made but I'm trying to stay as positive as possible because friends are such an important aspect of my life.

And last but CERTAINLY not least there is the subject of boys. Touchy subject for me at the moment. Shall we skip it? I think so, not ready to open up about this one yet! I know, I know.. that's the point of my blog but I think I need to work this one out in my head before I share. Perhaps you will hear about it in a blog to come ;)
